Fireplaces openings must be measured to 1/16 of an inch for accuracy. For custom-made screens or enclosures, it could be a costly mistake to you, the customer. Please use a TAPE MEASURE when measuring for better accuracy. ARCHES If you have an arched fireplace we will need the measurements from you. 1. Measure the width of the opening at the base. 2. Measure from the base to the highest point at the top of the arch and finally, 3. measure the sides from the base to just before where the arch starts. If you have an unusuall shaped fireplace or rough fieldstone fireplace we can verify the measurements for you.* *Measuring Fees An up front measuring fee is required. If you then purchase a glass enclosure from us we will apply part (some times all) of the measuring fee back towards the price of the enclosure.
